Cid wants you to do an errand for him again. After getting the mission from the guards, go to Cid who will tell you about the Crystal Line. Your mission is to go to the Crag of Dem in Konschtat Highlands. There you need to trade a crystal to the telepoint, in return you will get a faded crystal. While you are here, if you do not have the telepoint, examine it again to get the Dem Crystal for teleporting ability.

Return to Cid with the faded crystal and trade it to him. He will tell you to go to Naji. Naji says he does not understand it tells you to go to Ayame who is in the back of Metalworks in a gunner building. She'll ask you why you came to her because she was so far away. Reply however you wish. The mission ends with you answering her.
