Raifa works for VERMIN and needs some help killing a monster down in the Gusgen Mines. However, the monster will not come out if you are too strong, so Raifa puts a special oil on you to lower your strength, lv 20 cap. This fight will require at least two parties since there are two monsters. Most people will gather together a full alliance since it makes the fight easier and there is no plenty for having a full alliance. The only down side is that your strongest opponent will probably disorganization rather than the monster, though this monster should not be underestimated. Since it is two monsters they often kill a lot of the party members due to lack of organization. Having a good plan and smart people will give you victory. Also to remember, the monster is an ooze, so magic is prefered.

Once you beat the monsters, return to Raifa and receive your 5000 gil and Dragon Chronicles, why is the Chronicles important? Because it is extra experience points by just using the item, generally between 500-1000 exp points. Just remember you can only do this once a week, or more precisely, once every conquest tally, meaning Sunday morning for those in the US time zones.
